About

My Mission

It is my desire to help individuals and groups achieve their goals and highest levels of success.

the compass or Star

We should all have plans and a destination to travel towards through life.  Just as a compass or guiding star helps a person in the wilderness guide his way to his final destination, the compass or guiding star represents the base for direction as we plan our journey on our way to the next stop in life.

The star also represents balance.  We all need to include balance on everything we do. For instance, we need our confidence balanced by humility.  We need to balance working hard with rest.  It is easy for our lives to go “out of balance” if we focus too much on one thing and ignore others.

The symbol used on the pages of this site can be thought of a compass, guiding star, or any other form of direction that relates to you in a personal way.  Maybe you see it as the sun, the end of an arrow, or something else that guides and balances your life.

About Me

Who am I really? I have a Ph.D. in engineering and life. I have learned much in life because I have made many a mistake.  I have been divorced and flunked courses in high school to name a few.  My goal is to learn from mistakes and constantly improve.  I am married to a wonderful lady and I am a father to my children.

I got into coaching mostly by happenstance.  I was the one at work or school who people would come to see me to discuss their deepest problems.  I respect people’s trust as I hold trust as one of the most valuables things in life.  It occurred to me I should coach based on the suggestion of many friends who have thanked me for being their personal life coach and mentor.

I believe that choosing the right journey is as important as choosing the right destination.   I also believe that our success in life is part choice and part luck.  As a coach, I try to make sure my clients do the things that put the odds in their favor to live a more fulfilled and successful life.
